Description:
Project Access addresses the critical challenges faced by "working-poor" individuals and families living in affordable housing communities by bringing the services to where they live - in their "backyards," which removes often-cited obstacles to services, such as lack of transportation, language barriers and the need for child care. Project Access creates opportunities that empower disadvantaged and underserved individuals, families and seniors to achieve greater self-sufficiency, independence, and success.
History:

Today, Project Access provides services in 22 affordable housing apartment communities at Family and/or Senior Resource Centers - with its start in southern California and a growing statewide expansion.
