The mission of the Committed 2 Community (C2C) is to support the San Francisco community by producing participatory events and programs that will raise money for local non-profit organizations or provide needed services for underserved communities. C2C produces The San Francisco Marathon™ and West End Management events. All net proceeds from The San Francisco Marathon and West End Management provide support for C2C programs

Committed2Community is a California nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation that serves the community of San Francisco. C2C has various programs to provide this support like its youth program Youth Run4Fun. Youth Run4Fun, is dedicated to establishing sustainable community-based running and fitness programs for youth of all shapes, sizes and cultures that enhance physical health, emotional well-being and personal achievement, with a focus on underserved populations of the San Francisco Bay Area. Under the umbrella of YR4F is the JUST RUN® San Francisco program, and various track & field events.

History:
BAYRP programming began in the spring of 2005 supporting 4 elementary school running programs. The program partnered with JUST RUN in the summer of 2007 and was adopted by The San Francisco Marathon in the winter of 2007. With the merger the non-profits name was changed to Committed2Community and has reached into more than 10 distinct neighborhoods of the Bay Area. Youth Run4Fun is now serving over 2000 youth between the ages of 5-15 and helping other local youth running programs through its support and expertise in event planning.
