Jewish Gateways reaches out to Jews, their family members, and interested others who would like to explore Jewish life in an open-ended manner. We help them learn about and experience Jewish possibilities, and connect with Jewish community.

Description:
We offer Shabbat and holiday celebrations, Jewish learning opportunities, Jewish "coaching," and individualized help in finding Jewish connections. For example, at High Holy Days (Jewish new year) we host New Year Seders and a Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) Gathering. At that time of year we also help those who would like to attend synagogue services to find the right service, and to get tickets to that service.

History:
Rabbi Bridget Wynne started Jewish Gateways in 2006 after years of being a synagogue rabbi and seeing that synagogues were not the right entrance-way for to Jewish life for many people. She founded Jewish Gateways to serve as an alternative "gateway" to Jewish exploration and connections.
