Asian Pacific Fund
Powered by Truist
Last updated on January 9, 2008

The Asian Pacific Fund is a community foundation established to improve the health and well-being of all Asian Americans in the Bay Area. The Fund is the only organization in the Bay Area focused exclusively on working closely with Asian donors, raising funds for over 90 community agencies and public education projects, and ensuring that contributions have a lasting impact.

Description:
The Asian Pacific Fund is a community foundation established to improve the health and well-being of all Asian Americans in the Bay Area. Asian Americans are 23 percent of the Bay Area, but we receive less than 1 percent of mainstream funding, even as one in every six of Asian children grows up in poverty. By providing services and awarding grants to more than 90 Asian organizations, the Fund also supports a broad range of local groups that help Asian Americans. These organizations serve Cambodian, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Thai, Vietnamese and other Asians in the region. The Fund is the only organization in the Bay Area focused exclusively on working closely with Asian donors, raising funds for community agencies and public education projects, and ensuring that contributions have a lasting impact.
