We provide for stepfamilies encouragement, support, and direction in building a strong, healthy blended family. As a Christian non-profit we follow Biblical principles to be non-judgmental, positive, and up lifting as we teach and guide parents and stepparents in growing a stepfamily in which each member can feel valued, loved, and accepted. We strive to help divorced parents to overcome conflicts in order to work together to provide a healthy growing experience and a suitable model for their children.

STEP-Carefully! Inc. is a Christian non-profit ministry created for the purpose of educating and encouraging remarried couples ("stepfamilies") in blending two broken families into one healthy new family. We help biological and stepparents understand the needs of their children, the parenting couple, and their extended family with the goal of all of them learning to work together in peace. We use Biblical values in teaching, mediating, and directing families.

History:
We were founded in 1996 by Bobby and Jo Donna Collins, a remarried couple who were in need of support in their own stepfamily. In seeking to understand the challenges they were facing, they began a local support group in Western Arkansas, extended that to a web site (stepcarefully.com) and began discussing stepfamily issues with other stepparents. We incorporated Arkansas as a 501c3 organization in 2001. Our primary activities include publication of an informative web site, email newsletter, and resource booklets.
