The mission of the Conservatory is to create, sustain, and interpret a distinct, documented collection of lowland and highland tropical plants displayed in naturalistic habitats and themed exhibits; to provide outstanding botanical, horticultural and environmental-education opportunities for people of all ages; and to provide a place of exceptional beauty and tranquility within an historic Victorian era conservatory.
