Threshold 2008, a project of CIF of The San Francisco Foundation, is a major civic engagement effort to build the public voice and ask the people of San Mateo County what they want to do about our shortage of housing that most people can afford. We believe that by including more people in the discussion on housing issues, leaders will be in a better position to make decisions that support and sustain our community. We do not advocate for any specific policy agenda or development project. Our goal is to build the public voice on housing choices.
