The San Francisco Free Civic Theatre is a free adult drama program of the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department.

ABOUT SFFCT The San Francisco Free Civic Theatre is a free adult drama program of the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. We produce 4-5 shows a year in public venues, with a varied selection of original works, classic theatre and adaptations. All participants are volunteers committed to presenting free public theatre. Performances are always FREE and open to the public--no tickets, no box office, no charge.
REHEARSALS: Most rehearsals take place at the West Portal Recreation Center in SF. WEST PORTAL RECREATION CENTER 131 Lenox Way, SF, CA 94127 (between Ulloa & Taraval - top level, above the MUNI station) PERFORMANCES: Performances are held at the Randall Museum Theatre, as well as other venues within San Francisco: RANDALL MUSEUM THEATRE 199 Museum Way, SF, CA 94114 (at the top of Corona Heights, off Roosevelt Way) EUREKA VALLEY RECREATION CENTER 100 Collingwood St, SF CA 94114 (one block off Castro, between 18th & 19th) For more information on previous and upcoming shows, or to learn how to get involved, visit our website at http://www.sffct.org or call (415)753-7037.
History:
The San Francisco Free Civic Theatre premiered in December 2000, and has since produced 20+ productions in various public venues throughout SF. We are part of the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, and participants both on-stage and backstage are all volunteers.
