Directions:
Directions to World Computer Exchange Hull Drop Off and Packing Events– 936 Nantasket Ave. Phone: 781-925-3078 or on weekends 781-925-8833. By car, there are two different ways. (of course Mapquest has a whole different way) You are going to Hull, Massachusetts that is around one hour SOUTH of the city of Boston. Take Rt. 93 SOUTH from Boston to Rt. 3 (TOWARD CAPE COD) to exit 14 for Rt. 228. Turn left and follow Rt. 228 as it wraps its way through Hingham for several miles (follow signs for Nantasket Beach). Once you enter Hull, you will have the beach on your right. After you pass the Clarion Hotel on your left, get in the left lane so that when the road forks you take the left fork. This road turns into Nantasket Ave. on which we live. 936 Nantasket is about 5 miles into Hull and after a small commercial area and all of the alphabet streets. Once you get to “XYZ” Street, if you look straight ahead there is a hill that you want to head up, instead of staying on the main road that goes around the hill. The road going up the hill forks and you want the left fork. We are up and over that hill (you will see Boston Light right in front of you) the second to last house on the right side - a red house with white pillars on the porch - 936. If you can't find it call our house at 781-925-8833 or if it is a weekday call WCE at 781-925-3078. Alternate route: Take the Central Artery (93) SOUTH through downtown Boston south to Neponset Circle exit and loop back under Central Artery and go up the overpass (initially this is 3A) and follow Quincy Shore Drive toward south shore until it links back up with 3A in a few miles. Follow Rte. 3A through Quincy over the Fore River bridge and through Weymouth and into Hingham a few miles until you get to the Rotary where you take the second exit (1st one is 3A) toward Nantasket Beach and Hull. Follow this until you come into Hull and you have the beach on your right. Follow directions in previous paragraph . By public transportation, there are three ways to get to our house/office/warehouse: Red line to Quincy Center to 228 bus to Hingham Center then the Hull bus to our house at 936 Nantasket Avenue - tell the bus driver to let you off there (it is at the end of Allerton Hill (next to the old Kennedy/Fitzgerald house – a very large white house) just before the bus goes out the causeway to Hull village. Or during the week, you can take one of two boats. The Hull boat leaves Long Wharf on the park side of the Long Wharf Marriot in a big tall new metal set of ramps floating on the harbor (this is about 1 block from the Aquarium and two blocks from Quincy Market). This boat leaves at 5:15 promptly and 5:30 promptly and gets to Hull within about 25 minutes. There are also 2 early morning boats and a boat around noon. The other boat goes to Hingham (the next town over) and leaves frequently from Rowes Wharf 4 blocks from South Station along Atlantic Ave past the Federal Reserve and behind the Boston Harbor Hotel on Rowes Wharf. We would need to know which boat or bus you are taking so that I can pick you up. There are phones near each place (at Quincy Center) inside the Long Wharf Marriot and inside the boat ticket sales store facing the entry ramp to the Hingham boat. Our phone numbers are 781-925-3078 and 781-925-8833.
