Our goal is to help local community agencies and Lion's Clubs collect more used eyeglasses, hearing aids, used cell phones and more....

Description:
Our agency is not part of the Lion's International eye glasses collection and processing centers. Most of the donations collected by the sites we help get established are processed by regional collection centers and other processing facilities operated by national organizations.

Our function is to promote more collection activity. We are planning a national directory of locations where used eyeglasses, used hearing aids, used cell phones, ink jet and laser cartridges through our web site www.donateglasses.org. The value of the donations are tax deductible. We accept donations by mail and will provide electronic receipts if you can not find a donation location in your area.

We are also developing a directory of locations and organizations that accept unused AIDS drugs. The value of the donations maybe tax deductible depending on the local program. We accept donations by mail as a collection site on behalf of RAMP www.rampuse.org. We will provide electronic receipts if requested.

Our goal is to make the collection of these items the National Public Service of the tax preparation industry. Our first project is with Jackson Hewitt Tax services a national network of more than six thousand office. Most offices are individually owned.

We need limited in office services to process and collect eyeglasses and assist with administrative services and the shipment of site collection kits.

We need at home research assistants with computers and fast internet access to help us build our collection system information. Working in virtual teams of two and one coordinating research assistant. Expected commitment is 16 hours a month.
