Every child deserves safe and supportive spaces that respect and foster their strengths, creativity, and abilities. We join with homeless and formerly homeless families to build confidence by providing support in academics, recreation, and cultural activities.

Home Away provides three unique programs for homeless and formerly homeless children and youth (ages 6-16)in San Francisco and Marin: The Beach House, The School House and The Mentoring Program.

Home Away was founded in 1993. We are located at historic Ft. Mason in San Francisco.
