A non-profit community based organization offering services and advocacy for seniors who are at least 55 yrs of age and adults with disabilities who reside in the Bayview Hunters Point community of San Francisco. Services are provided in English, Cantonese, Mandarin

Description:
Our Program Provides Case Management individualize
assessment,care plans, referrals and monitoring for frail elders. Helping Hands At Home a personalized in-home care for persons needing help with daily living activities. Project Voice Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers Program services includes transportation, phone reassurance, friendly visiting, yard work, Peer Advocacy and minor volunteer services. Seniors in Motion for Health Workshops, exercise classes, seminars,and meetings proclaiming the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.Bayview Resource Centers an information and referral and community outreach both locally and citywide.Annual Events: Holiday Luncheon; Zydeco/Mardi Gras Dance; Community Recognition Gala; Summer Dance and A Day At The Races.

History:
The organization was established in 1989 with a coalition of Elders, Health Care Providers, Family Members, Concerned Residents, and Merchants.Mission, to encourage ethnic and cultural diversity; build strong collaborative bonds believing that all seniors are assets who, when cultivated, nurtured and invested in, benefit the communtiy.The Network enhances the independence and quality of life. The goal is to provide adequate support for seniors and the persons with disabilities, empowering them to remain safely in their homes for as long as possible.
