Oakes Children's Center is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt agency helping autistic, developmentally delayed, and emotionally disturbed children from 5-14 years of age develop the independence and self-awareness necessary to live and continue learning in the least restrictive setting possible within their local community. Our purpose is to promote the emotional, psychological and academic development of these children in order to achieve their highest potential and to allow for their eventual return to a public school setting.
