We are a non profit educational institution dedicated to preserving and presenting jazz throughout the Bay Area. SFJAZZ presents both the San Francisco Jazz Festival (Fall) and SFJAZZ Spring Season which take place at venues throughout SF and features many well-known artists. We also provide musical education programs for youth in the city.

The San Francisco Jazz Festival was established in 1979 by founder Randall Kline.
