The Sunset Community Festival was conceived to help build a sense of community in the large, diverse Sunset District. It brings together the many local children, families, community members, businesses and merchants, artists and performers to celebrate the cultural richness of our neighborhood.
History:
The Sunset District Neighbood Coalition was formed in 1994. A core group of merchants, non-profit organizations, city services and residents meet monthly to discuss issues and concerns related to the greater Sunset. The primary activity of SDNC is the annual Sunset Community Festival.
