Wu Yee Children's Services serves low-income families and child care providers through a wide variety of programs including child care, resource and referral, parent classes, child care provider training, and a provider stipend program. Our mission is to promote the healthy development of children by providing high quality culturally and linguistically appropriate child and family support services.

Description:
Wu Yee strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment so that parents can work without worry, and we provide services and information which improve families' self-esteem, self-sufficiency, and problem-solving ability. We act as a bridge for families confronting economic, educational, linguistic, and cultural barriers as they seek services, and we educate the community, political, and business leaders about family support and children's needs.

History:
Wu Yee was established in Chinatown in 1977 as a response to the growing demand for child care. Since then Wu Yee has grown to serve families across San Francisco with centers in Chinatown, the Tenderloin and Visitacion Valley.
