(1) Protection and preservation of Fitzgerald Marine Reserve at Moss Beach. (2) To encourage interpretive, educational, historical and scientific endeavors that relate to the marine environment and related ecosystems.
Description:
Training Training sessions begin in January each year. Class will consist of 4 hours on Saturdays, normally from 9 - 1pm or 8 to noon. Six hours of additional field trips to the Marine Reserve in Moss Beach will be required. See www.fitzgeraldreserve.org for exact schedule of classes. Availability Besides having tidepool docents, we accept 1-time volunteers for days such as beach cleanups, earth day, etc. Comments There is no office for the Friends organization itself.
