Action For Nature seeks to encourage young people to be interested in Nature and in personal action. Our International Young Eco Hero Awards program is now in its sixth annual cycle. We have produced a book called "Acting for Nature" -- international stories of children's environmental successes, and hope to expand our educational and outreach programming

History:
Action For Nature was founded almost 20 years ago as Assisi Nature Council/USA. It arose out of the saving of song bird habitat in Italy. A few years ago we changed our name to Action For Nature.
