JVS builds the skills needed to succeed in today's workplace. We assist individuals to achieve self-sufficiency, and help businesses fulfill their employment goals. JVS is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit corporation founded in 1973. At JVS, our goal is to be the bridge that unites people and the jobs best suited to them. To achieve this goal, we have designed programs that provide a wide range of benefits to the San Francisco public. From mock interviews to job-search courses, from job placement to computer training, if you are seeking a new job or to make a career change, we are sure that we have a program to fulfill your needs.

History:
Founded in 1973, JVS is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit corporation with funding from the government, foundations, businesses, individual donors, fees for service and the Jewish Community Federation. JVS is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Bureau for Private Postsecondary & Vocational Education (BPPVE).
