New Leaf: Services For Our Community exists to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning individuals and families of all ages lead healthy and connected lives. We provide professional mental health, substance abuse, and social support services to strengthen our diverse community.

Description:
New Leaf is San Francisco's primary outpatient counseling center specifically serving the lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and their families. New Leaf provides individual, group, couples and family therapy for clients that present with a wide range of mental health, substance abuse and HIV issues. We target some services specifically to women, persons with HIV, transgender individuals, seniors, the disabled and youth. New Leaf provides an opportunity to gain experience working with specific substance abuse treatment models (harm reduction and abstinence approaches). New Leaf also provides on site psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring.
