The mission of the NDF is to eliminate various neurodegenerative diseases starting with Alzheimer's.

Description:
The Neurological Disease Foundation is dedicated in providing accurate accessible information to scientists, physicians and patients on the potential causes, treatments and prevention of diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis. We believe that by providing this information to scientists, physicians and patients, that they will better understand the way in which neurological diseases are dealt with today is very rapidly changing. They can make more informed decisions about how to either accelerate the process in the case of scientists and physicians or make proper choices in the case of patients. Our mission is to facilitate a revolution in this area of health such that treatment of neurological diseases will be akin to that of cardiovascular treatments today (personal health, diet, nutrients and medicine combined to fundamentally reduce risk and treatment of diseases).

History:
The Foundation was established in 1987 and in 2001 the winner of the "baby Nobel prize in Neurology" placed his winnings into the NDF to further our mission of elimination of various neurodegenerative disease through Prevention.
