The Peninsula Museum of Art provides four art exhibitions each year and a variety of educational programs for the communities of San Mateo County. Facilities include a formal exhibition gallery, art reference library, and museum store.
Description:
The Museum exhibitions present artists who produce aesthetically wonderful work using unique and innovative approaches. Special events include Sunday Seminars, quarterly programs that explore art world issues and controversies. Four newsletters a year are mailed to members and supporters.
History:
The Peninsula Museum of Art was established in April of 2004, and received its 501(c)3 status in November 2004. The Museum is located in the Twin Pines Art Center in Belmont's Twin Pines Park.
