Our current computer is on its last leg. It is an 9 year old Gateway computer, and it can't even print out a document without crashing. We desperately need a computer (or for a temporary fix RAM memory) in order to put together resource packets and action plans for our clients. This has been a huge setback for our office. We also need a computer as we do most of our own publishing and printing in house. In addition to the printing, and resource packets, we also used our computer to maintain a web site for our agency, to track our statistics, store and encrypt private files, to search and write grants, to communicate with various other non-profits, and to plan and implement our outreach program. We are not picky, desktop- notebook.. if it can handle some basic programs (like office and acrobat) without crashing, we are happy. We are a very busy crisis pregnancy center, with very limited funds, so a donated computer would be a blessing. |
