Your gift can make the holidays special for the children, women and men who have little or no resources to purchase food for a holiday meal, toys and basic clothing or household items. Make the holidays special by sponsoring the following opportunities:  Host a toy drive for the children and teens living at one or more of Rubicon’s housing sites  Make a donation to purchase toys for all Rubicon children and teens - $1,500 would provide age appropriate toys for all of the youth  Host a “warm things” drive for all individuals and families living at one or more of Rubicon’s housing sites; warm things may include: knit caps, gloves, scarves, and socks  Make a donation for the purchase of “warm things” gifts for all the individuals and families housed by Rubicon - $500 would add a little warmth to the holidays for everyone  Nine families have recently moved into permanent housing at Giant Road Apartments in San Pablo; each of the households needs beds – the purchase of eight mattresses would really make their new apartments a place they can call home  Host a holiday food drive for one or all of Rubicon’s housing sites;  Make a donation for the purchase of groceries, $40 buys a bag of groceries for a family of four, including a holiday turkey or ham  Be the exclusive corporate or individual sponsor all of the Rubicon holiday giving opportunities for $5,000 and make the holidays one to remember for all.
