Agency: Shelter Network of San Mateo County
Donation name: New Backpacks For Homeless Children
Description: Back to School with Pride!

Shelter Network is having a “Backpack Drive”
August 1 – September 20, 2008.

With the increasing costs of living, donating new backpacks and school supplies for homeless children is much needed in our community in San Mateo County. Moreover, a new backpack and supplies can increase the excitement for children going to school this fall. This backpack drive will benefit all homeless children staying with Shelter Network, which last year alone served over 1500 children.
If you are interested in putting a backpack together with supplies please contact Lynnelle Bilsey at 650-685-5880 ext. 25 or email at lbilsey@shelternetwork.org. Shelter Network will supply you with a Suggested Needs List for the backpacks as well as directions as to where to deliver the donation. For more information about Shelter Network, please visit our website at www.shelternetwork.org
