Make a difference in the lives of Asian women and children! Become a volunteer or language advocate at the Asian Women’s Shelter! Asian Women’s Shelter needs volunteers to work in our shelter with women and children who are escaping domestic violence. Bilingual volunteers needed, but not required.

We are also seeking bilingual/bicultural advocates to provide support, interpretation, and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence. On-call position; paid, please call Jee.

Volunteers and Language Advocates must complete a mandatory 60 hour Domestic Violence training with Asian Women's Shelter. This training certifies all participants as Domestic Violence Counselors in the State of California. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
