Seneca Center works with kids ages 2 to 18 and families during the most difficult times of their lives. We offer residential (group/foster homes) community-based and school-based therapeutic treatment programs throughout Northern California for children who have severe emotional and behavioral challenges, mostly as a result of significant trauma early in life.

We are looking for individuals, company teams, church groups, families, etc to "sponsor" a family during the holidays so that we can provide gifts, food and clothing to our families in need.

Many groups or businesses have a "giving tree" which we are happy to help you organize!

For many of us, the holiday season conjures up pleasant, warm images of happiness, plentiful food and a time of joyful celebration with friends and family.

Sadly, many of Seneca’s children are unable to be cared for by their families of origin. Because of this, the holiday season can provoke feelings of abandonment and loss for them. Though we understand that little can replace the role of family in a child’s life, we try to help our kids have as much of a normal holiday season as possible. Your assistance will help ensure that, for our neediest families, each child has a gift to open, and each family has a traditional holiday meal to share.

Partner with us to give kids a magical holiday season this year. Unlike the therapeutic services and programs we provide, special events like this cannot be funded through traditional sources and are only made possible by the generosity of private contributors, and 100% of the donations we get during the holidays go directly to benefit the families.
