Drivers for Seniors - Make a difference in their life
Powered by Truist
Last updated on October 9, 2008

TRIP Program is a mobility program that provides transportation to seniors 65+ years, residents of San Mateo County; this is possible thanks to the participation of Volunteer Drivers. We believe, this is our way to contribute for seniors to keep taking care of themselves. If they have somebody willing to driving them wherever they need to go, they would never miss their doctor's appointments, they would be able to go grocery shopping; or participate in activities in their communities, or just go to the hair salon to feel good about themselves; They would never feel isolate or lonely; because they would be able to go to church and even visit friends and family.
For all this to happen is why we need your help. Become a Volunteer Driver is a rewarding experience. For them, you not only would be the person who is giving them the rides; but also, you would be turn to be a friend that is concern about them. Help us help others and keep on mind that everybody' destiny is to be a senior one day.

To be a Volunteer Driver you would have to be 25 years or older, have a Valid California D.L., and have a couple of hours periodically, the most precious quality would be want to share your free time with a senior. We would reimbursed the Driver $0.52 for mile, while transporting the senior to their different destinations.(Finger printing and D.M.V background required).
