We are looking for volunteers to organize and work on our special events. Events include a donor recognition reception, an annual Giants baseball game fundraiser, an Earthquakes soccer game fundraiser and a music concert featuring student performers from our K-8 public schools in San Mateo and Foster City. We have a strong instrumental music program that begins in 5th grade and we raise funds to help pay instrumental music teachers' salaries. Our donation this year allowed the district to keep the 5th grade instrumental program, which had lost its funding from the state.

Volunteers for special events need to be organized self starters who are excellent planners, detail oriented and comfortable working with the public. They should also be enthusiastic and energetic. Marketing and publicity skills would be an added plus.

Take 92 east toward Hayward and take the Foster City Blvd. exit, the last exit before getting on the San Mateo Bridge. Turn left onto Foster City Blvd. and cross the first light.
