Volunteer Opportunity Details:

When someone has agreed to organize a book drive, our book drive coordinator takes over. The book drive coordinator matches them with a specific library project in Africa, answers their questions, helps them through the collecting, sorting and shipping process. This person will handle a whole container worth of book drives (think 25-60 libraries!) at a time over about a 4-6 month period of time.

This volunteer must be very detail-oriented and like to work with people. They must have a computer and be comfortable using our database, email, and googledocs. It will take several months to learn our systems, but we will train you. We are looking for volunteers who would enjoy working from home on a flexible, but regular basis. This position is really central to our operations, takes a while to learn and is very detailed. Please only apply if you are looking for a long term volunteer opportunity (2+ years).
