The ADRC is in need of bi-lingual volunteers who will be trained to support the Information and Assistance Specialists. As an ADRC volunteer, you will have a wide array of duties, including; accompanying clients to medical appointments, public benefit interviews, filling out forms and serving as a translator and interpreter, assisting in administrative duties, helping find referral and reference information for our consumers, etc. You may also assist in receiving phone referrals and making follow-ups on services arranged for clients. You will be a very important asset to not only the ADRC but to the at-risk San Francisco aging and young disabled population as a whole!

Preferred Strengths in Volunteers:

•Bi-lingual (* English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, etc needed.) ** If not bi-lingual, we still have A LOT of volunteer opportunities for you!

• Interest and compassion for the Aging and Young Disabled population

•Ability to make a strong commitment to the ADRC
