Volunteer Opportunity Details:

One hour a week can make a difference in the life of a lonely and isolated senior. Become a volunteer with JFCS's Senior Companion Program. Seniors and their companions are carefully matched by interest and geography. Volunteers receive extensive training and supervision. Senior companions commit to serving a minimum of six months to a year. Volunteers provide friendship and companionship to a lonely senior. The program allows individuals to balance leisure time with service.

Volunteers of all ages are needed. Volunteers attend one orientation training and quarterly meetings.
