Jamestown's Sports Program offers young people ages 6 - 18 the opportunity to play on organized sports teams including soccer, baseball, and softball. Soccer is played year-round, and baseball and softball are played in the summer. Coaches work with one team, and coach two practices per week and one game on the weekends. Practice schedules are based on volunteer's availability. Days and times of games vary depending on the sport and the season. Volunteer coaches must attend an initial orientation and training. They are also required to get fingerprinted, and if coaching soccer, they are required to attend a F-license training (one evening and 6 hours the next day). This opportunity is sponsored by: Jamestown Community Center
